Water Treatment: This radiator is to use on closed heating systems only; they are certainly not suitable for installation on secondary DHWS circuits.On completion of the installation the entire system must be completely cleaned and flushed to clear out debris/flux residues etc. If the chemical cleanser is used, it needs to be thoroughly flushed through the system. Next, it has to be dosed with good eminence water treatment to prevent corrosion. System design, flushing and dosing need to be according to BS 5449: 1990, BS EN 12828: 2003 and BS 7593: 1992.
IMPORTANT: Failure to see these requirements will render the guarantee on the product void. Corrosion inhibitor is required as per the manufacturer’s instructions and recommendations and will consider the particular metal within the system.
