Service
Decided to completely gut and refit my bathroom so needed a lot of product from various supplies. To say it was a nightmare getting what I needed when I needed it is an underestimate but something I'm sure everyone’s goes through with such a project. I can honestly say ordering the items I wanted from QS Supply’s was a breeze and totally effortless. My only gripe is that I didn't find them sooner as it would have made my life much easier. Would recommend QS to anyone wanting to do big or little projects. Easy to use website. Quality Products. Great Prices. And superfast delivery with no issues. Can't ask for more than that. I'll be back as they say.

Nice, high price
A powerful shower which is easily too hot to stand under in High mode once you start to turn it beyond 1/3! The Airboost button adds what feels like extra force/volume of water, apparently without the added water usage. It feels good but does produce noticeable extra noise when this mode is employed. If you don't have a need for the Airboost function, I'd consider the Sport version to save money.

Good product, Good service
After shopping around, QS offered the best value. Delivery by courier was a couple of days later. The shower is a big step up from the Mira Sport. It easily fitted the previous electrical & plumbing connections of the previous 15 year old of the same unit. It is is everything it promised, more powerful, although with the air boost on, it is a little louder than the previous model.

5 Stars! All Good!
We purchased this shower a year ago, and it still looks like brand new. We Compared the price of this product all over the internet, local DIY, got it cheapest here. Delivery was quick enough. Must say it’s quite efficient and is doing a decent job. The flow of the water is powerful, controls are easy to use and overall has been pretty good.

Best
We have had 3 Mira in circa 15 years ... This is our third. The style has changed & the boost element appears to be a gimmick rather than any startling change in the force of the water, however, having used others in guest houses or at mates, it still appears to be the best 'electric' shower out there!

Rob Asked :Hi, I have always had a Triton Aspirante, but now that is not working. My Plumber is recommending that I should go with Mira Sport Max. Could you tell how this shower is terms of power/flow and reliability?
Answered By Pam :
I purchased this, when we had our bathroom renovated. We previously had a very old triton which was not very good or powerful so never got used. Now it is used all the time, its lovely and powerful and it has a boost so you can have it even more powerful. Although when you do have the boost on, it is quite noisy, so we do not tend to use the boost. Also the shower head has several different settings, which adjusts the flow. Make sure you have the shower fused correctly as we initially had the wrong fuse, and it kept cutting out, usually mid shower. You will need 45amp fused.
Answered By Edward :
10.8 mira is the best on the market but you most have a 10mm cable
Answered By Alan :
Its been very good. Pressure is good and its been very reliable. Would definitely recommend the Sport Max.
Answered By PETER :
Hi Rob, I have always had Mira showers, as they have a long life and easily operated. This model is also very good ,with the extra air flow mixed with the water gives you a quick and reasonably powerful shower. I find one setting on the high setting is all that it takes and you only need on/off button to operate. That makes it easy for all the family on a common setting, with a good temperature for all. had it 2 years now and no problems, would recommend it no problem.
Answered By Sharon :
Very pleased with this purchase. It was for my sons flat, he and his flat mate both say that it is the best one they have had and used.
I would not hesitate to buy this and would not look at other makes unless I was sure, as I did my homework first.
Answered By Ian :
Had the Sport Max for over 3 years and (touch wood) no problems.
Power is decent for an electric version. Tend not to use the turbo boost button as it is quite noisy and water does not flow naturally – more bursts of water.
Had to upgrade cable from fuse board to shower to make use of the maximum shower rating. I am sure a 10mm cable was required.
Answered By Anthony :
Hi Rob,
I have got to say it is a good unit. The flow rate is better than other showers of the same power. However this is my third shower as they do tend to pack in after about 2 to 3 years. Why do i still get them? Because they are good. I would not bother with the extra "rain" bit as it really is just a gimmick and after using it for a few times, i have not used it since.
Whatever you decide, good luck.
Answered By SIMON :
Go for it, we are very pleased with the product, good water pressure and quality manufacture.
Answered By David :
Its the secondary shower in my house in the guests bathroom.
When I've used it the pressure seems quite high with the air injection
Its a very good shower.
Cant comment on reliability - have not had any problems.
Answered By David :
I have had this shower for more than 30 months now and it is used daily. We have not had any problems at all since it was installed. We find the power it delivers adequate at normal settings but it increases dramatically when the Air Boost button is used. I would not hesitate in recommending this model to new users.
Answered By Andrew :
Hi there, it works really well and with the power boost button you get more pressure.
Answered By mark :
Flow is OK but It was not as powerful as I hoped. It has a boost button but it does not really put more power in the jets, it delivers a higher volume of a softer bubbled kind of water - we don't find any use for it. However it has been reliable for two years and regulates temp well.
Answered By Chris :
We have had one for 2 years and it worked great. I love it, and the air boost is great too a really seems to make a difference. The only thing which I don't like so much is the noise. When the airboost is on it is quite noisy. As long as you have a good mains pressure this will be a great shower for you.
Answered By John :
Hi, we have got three of these in a holiday let property. they work really well and have been in operation now for two years. They were also recommended by our plumber. We have certainly had no guest complaints regarding these showers.
Answered By Betty :
Is quite good re power/output of spray but the head splashes back rather than projecting forward, so in spite of what Mira say, we have changed the head and the shower works fine. We do not use the air boost button much anyway as it does not add a great deal to the performance and is noisy . Re reliability, we are now on our 3rd shower as they tend to break beyond repair about a week after the 2 year guarantee expires, but that is probably more to do with being in a hard water area than the make. We have only ever used Mira as after sales service is good and they repair/replace what they can.
Answered By anna :
I've had it in multiple daily use for at least 2 years without any problems, it's great, feels powerful for what it is and it's not bad looking too! Keeps a family of 3 clean!
Answered By Joy :
Rob, this is a great shower with the best flow rate due to the size of the heat exchanger, but you also have to take into account your local water pressure. It has a number of flow options to increase/reduce flow and.looks the business on the wall. This is the best shower we have ever bought. Very reliable and great quality. Thanks
Answered By Malcolm :
Hi have had this now for at least a year and it performs well - much better than the Triton shower it replaced. Not quite a power shower but sports button gives it a good kick and generally it delivers good flow and pressure and would recommend.
Answered By Mick :
Hi I have had the one now for 18 months great shower, flow is excellent a bit noisy if you have the air boost pump on but flow rate is brilliant with this!! Had no problems with this shower would highly recommend.
Answered By Jillian :
Hi, I have worked in the bathroom industry for 20+ years & honestly you cant go wrong with Mira Products you will always get spares for at least 10 years & the price as always been the best of QS
Answered By Dave :
It is the most powerful electric shower I have had. It gives a decent pressure in the winter. The airflow is quite noisy, it does boost it a bit ,but not a lot to be honest. The only cons are the thermostat temperature control seems a bit hit and miss when another tap is turned on somewhere. And on mine the dial is a bit stiff. Also the temperature can take a while to change from one setting to another, its not a quick response.
Answered By Terry :
I have had this one for about a year now.
It has been trouble free, the pump is rather noisy, power flow is average even when the booster is activated. My wife was not keen on the appearance of the shower head so we changed it. Overall I would rate it 4 star.
Answered By Harry :
Mira has delivered everything it said it would in the specification in terms of power/flow and reliability. It also looks good and was very easily fixed/fitted as a replacement for the pre-existing electric shower.
Answered By Paul :
Hi there, we are extremely pleased with our Mira, which we had installed 15 months ago. We have low water press, but it hasn't proved a problem with this particular shower. Heats well, & is very simple to use & clean too. Recommended.
Answered By James :
Loads of power, flow and reliability really excellent, best one i have ever bought.
Answered By Geoff :
Not fed from direct cold water supply. Fed from loft, check specs on supply to see if suitable. Works fine though. Son just fitted this unit, and it seems to have a more powerful flow. Worth a look.
Answered By James :
Good powerful flow, especially with the air booster (booster is a little noisy but optional, just as much water without it only less air volume/force), reliable so far.
Answered By Don :
In terms of power and flow the Mira is as good an electric shower as I have used. Only had it install about two months so can not comment on long term reliability but certainly no troubles so far.
Answered By ARTHUR :
Seems to be fine with regard to power/ flow but is not equivalent to a pumped power shower. I have not used it much so cannot answer with regard to reliability.
Answered By Norrie :
I install this product on a regular basis to customers who have had different showers in the past.
To date I still see quite a few of these customers when doing other work. They also comment on the shower, all positive and very happy with the product.
Remember as far as pressure goes, your cold supply has to meet the spec for this shower. No point installing a good pressure unit if your supply is poor.
I also recommend that it's 10.8Kw
louise Asked :I have an existing 8.5 kW and want to upgrade to a more powerful one, would I need to change the electric wiring or would the same wiring be ok for a 10.8kw?
Answered By QS Team :
Hi Louise, You will need to check with the Electrician whether the wiring is suitable for a 10.8 kW. As a rule of thumb, the wiring on an ordinary house can take an 8.5 K.W Power. For a 10.8 kW, the wiring should be sufficient to draw the extra power. The Mira 10.8 Kw is a powerful shower and is the most popular in the U.K. Regards, QS Team
