PM Asked :After 3 very successful years, Bern sink mixer tap model 115.0153.231 is dripping intermittently. Would welcome your advice/comment re best way to remedy this with thanks
Answered By Rob :
My franke bern tap was doing the same. I identified that it was from the cold side and changed the 1/4 turn valve (3308R-C) and now it's as good as new again.
Hope this helps.

It probably needs one of the ceramic valves replacing. The hot and cold are made of different material so you need to find out which one. They are available online for about £20 each. Changing them is not difficult but a couple of tools are required. Turn off the water supply, undo the grub screw holding the taplever on. The tap lever can then be removed exposing th valve. A spanner may be required to remove the valve and then the new one can be screwed in to replace it. The lever can then be put back on and the grub screw done up. The water can then be turned back on

Please confirm this is correct as instructions and pdf drawing are not very clear. 2... Are any additional components required to fit granite, and are they included in the kit?
Answered By Franke :
The tap can be fitted to a granite worktop using the fixing kit that is supplied.
