Quality plumbing
I am not a plumber, so I hesitated to get on with this one, but it was easy. There were good instructions and all the parts were carefully wrapped to avoid damage. Once fitted they looked far better than the previous arrangement. Money well spent

Great price for quality taps
Slight delay in delivery, 2 weeks rather than 1, but quality good and best price I could find on the web.

Derek Asked :
Does this faucet have anti-scald protection? If so, can you tell me how to adjust it?

Answered By QS Team :
The item isn’t fitted with an anti-scald protection unfortunately. The product is just an empty brass chamber that allows water flow via the internal compression valves, so whatever temperature water enters the tap is what will exit the tap spout. Obviously the cold tap can be opened to reduce the hot water temperature.

Daniel Asked :
Does this have the larger nuts connecting the tap? We have a tap which has seized, which we need to replace. The tap we have does say 1902 Westminster. Just wondered whether it has been changed as we have tried to replace with a different model but it will not fit.

Answered By QS Team :
In terms of the nuts to connect the tap, are you referring to the connections to the mains pipework or the connections between the pillar legs and the body of the tap? If you could let me know that would be great and We can then advise on the size of our Westminster product

Ian Asked :
Do you have an installation drawing of this tap which shows the distance between the required holes in the bath? Is it 150 mm or 180? mm

Answered By QS Team :
The distance between the holes for a WE013 is 180mm.

Nigel Asked :
Are these taps 1/4 turn ceramic disc or traditional with a rising spindle?

Answered By QS Team :
We can confirm that the WE013 has compression valves (full turn), which as you correctly say, are the traditional valve mechanism.

Bernie Asked :
Can you confirm if the main tap unit separates from the tap legs via two fixing nuts? If so, what is the width/distance between the centre of the fixing nuts (not legs)? I want to use the main tap unit to replace my existing tap without having to change the tap legs.

Answered By QS Team :
I can confirm that the main tap separates from the legs, and the centers from one nut to the other are 150mm. The only other thing to mention is that the connections on your existing tap legs would need to be 22mm.
