Peter Asked :I have a Mira Agile ERD Thermostatic Mixer Shower. I am not happy with the operating temperature. It always has to set on maximum. I would think it should be around the 5/6 mark. Can this be adjusted and how? Kind regards Peter
Answered By Ian :
Temperature can be adjusted to allow for a hotter maximum. Details are in the commissioning section of the installation manual.
Answered By Glenn :
Try reducing your cold water pressure/ flow I turned my cold water isolation valve a small amount to do this and check the hot water isolation valve is fully open. You should have these valves fitted somewhere nearby to the shower hopefully accessible.

Hi Peter, I have the same shower. Here is a link to the instruction manual http://www.mirashowers.co.uk/onlinecatalog/pdf/1199918-W2-B%20Mira%20Agile%20Pronta%20Installation%20and%20User%20guide.pdf Temperature adjustment is covered under commissioning, there is a hex screw hidden in the unit. Also make sure that the domestic hot water temperature on the boiler is set to maximum.
Answered By ian :
Yes,on the side of the unit where the temperature is regulated, flick the plastic end cap off, this reveals an adjustment screw that is turned with a small Allen type key, turn this in very small increments to adjust to hotter or colder. This is explained in the manual. Hope this helps
Answered By Rowland :
I bought a mira shower and have been asked to answer your question. Mira, I think you should send someone out to replace the shower or refund this gentleman his money. Please also get in touch with me to arrange payment for my consultancy fee.
Hawkins Asked :Does the Mira agile ERD really produce enough water at 0.1 bar for a decent shower or is it "just about ok".? Do you have it in stock
Answered By QS Team :
Hi Hawkins, The item is in stock. Regarding the pressure and flow rate it is difficult for us to comment as this is subjective. What we can say is that the Shower would work on 0.1 Bar pressure. Regards, QS Team.
