  • Incorporates a 2-step safety handle to avoid accidental activation

Safety Assured: Safety is a key priority and Omni is safer than a traditional kettle in so many ways there are no cords which can be pulled to avoid any nasty accidents like on a kettle. The childproof boiling lever itself boasts triple safety features including a push-and-turn activation function, a spring-loaded shut off and a unique child safety clip, ensuring it is difficult to accidentally turn on for total protection from curious little hands or visitors at home. The patented chassis engineering means the tap is never too hot to the touch, it stays cool even when producing boiling water.

What is NutRunna? What is NutRunna?

Franke Omni Kitchens Taps can be fitted in about 2 hours in standard kitchens. The NutRunna technology allows hand tightening, making fixing this tap easy and simple. The fitting process is so easy that no tools are needed, and minimal plumbing will do the job.

Andries Asked :
Hi! Franke Omni 4-in-1 kettle kitchen tap: Is it possible to (1) replace only the hot water outlet pipe between the heating tank and the tap, as a separate replacement part? (2) Is possible to replace only the cold water inlet pipe to the heating tank as a separate replacement part? Thanks!

kevin Asked :
Can you tell me how cold would the 4 in 1 Omni tap be via the filter? my question is due to our cold water, especially in summer months, is not refrigerator cold but rather tepid.

Answered By QS Team :
The Omni system doesn’t chill the water at all, so the temperature of the water will remain the same. The manufacturers are in the final stages of development with a chiller that will be available to install with the Omni so that you can get chilled cold filtered water through the tap. This will be available as a retro fit option, so if you already have an Omni or had one installed before, when the chiller becomes available you can have it fitted afterwards.

Tanya Asked :
Hi, can you tell me how crucial the 1.5 bar minimum pressure is for the franke omni 4 way boiling water tap? Will it work at all below 1.5bar? Or is this pressure needed to force water through the filter? I have a private non-mains supply which currently needs to be pumped to get any pressure.

Answered By QS Team :
The minimum 1.5 bar is crucial. I would suggest that the tap will just about manage to perform at that level, but for satisfactory performance, the tap really needs closer to the 2.5+ bar. Then it will work very well indeed. The pressure is required on both the mains hot and cold side for flow rate issues caused by the small internal diameter of the waterways inside the tap body.
