Dave Asked :I am not a plumber I intend to fit the Moda sanitary ware myself. Perhaps this is a daft question, but how do you connect the water supply to the cistern and the WC to the foul drain if it backs straight onto the wall? Normally, I would have expected to fix the sanitary ware to backgrounds first. Also...I have a "pebble" floor tile to fit in my bathroom. This has an undulating finish. In your opinion, would you tile the floor prior to sanitary ware installation or later?

The water feed would be done on a flexi hose, so you can connect and then push the toilet back onto the waste pipe then fix the toilet in place. I would, in your case, tile around the toilet as you say the tile is uneven, this could put a pressure point on the pan itself and over time make it crack. Hope this helps.
