Quite an expensive cistern but perfect when space is limited. Straight forward to fit just make sure you plan the route of the cold feed. Be careful measuring the flush pipe length, “ measure twice , cut once”.

I can see this cistern can be fitted to the plasterboard - please, may you let me know if this means the fixings can go into the plasterboard only or if it means the cistern can be fixed to the studs through the board. We have a double layer of board in our en-suite if that affects fixing.

The Geberit Sigma 8cm UP720 Concealed Cistern White is to be installed and fixed to a brick wall - The double-layer plasterboard is to be boarded against the front of the unit, not behind it.

How does the UP720 differ from 111.911.00.5? Would the same flush plates work with both?

The difference between the 2 is that the UP720 is an old Sigma 8cm Concealed cistern, new code 109.792.00.1, and the 111.911.00.5 is our Sigma 12cm concealed cistern 98cm duofix frame. Most of our Sigma flush plates are compatible with both cisterns.

Hello. Can the pipe that connects to the toilet be shortened at the top (cistern end) without affecting the seals etc., or guarantee? I would like to ask the same question for the Grohe 80mm wide cistern also.
