Toughened Safety Glass

Toughened glass, tempered or safety glass as it is rightly called, is five times harder than regular glass of the same size and thickness, which makes it so that it won’t break as easily. It also shatters with scattering as it tends to break into tiny, blunt pieces without harming anyone nearby. Known to have greater thermal strength, this durable material with double glazing has almost twice the soundproofing abilities and provides excellent heat insulation.

A reversible door can be fit to open either to the right or left, depending on the dimensions of your space.

It's not possible to fit this enclosure and screw the fixings into the wall square. By its design, the frame is fitted with the enclosure within it. This prevents any form of driver sending the screws into the wall at 90 degrees. The door unit wont stay closed properly either and there are no adjustments that can be made to prevent this. If I wasn't for this shower being used infrequently I should have sent it back.

Nice quality for a good price. Ours was to fit a 3 sided wall enclosure. Website states adjustment 840-880mm, but ours only went to a maximum of 860, we had to put an extra piece of wood down each side to make it fit.

This is a bi-fold door and does not have any fixed panel to it. If you are looking for a side panel to make a corner enclosure, Options are available in the product. Refer OP-37697 - OP-37700. If you require only the Side panel without the door, please click here.
