The seat works smoothly and effortlessly and includes a 3 or 6 Litre Cistern operated by a chrome push button. Crafted from excellent vitreous china, it is attractive with smooth contours and is easy to install. What's more, it comes with a guarantee of 25 years against any defect in material or manufacturing.

Dual-Flush

A toilet with a flushing mechanism with two different buttons for flushing solid and liquid waste, thereby saving water.

Soft-Close Seat

Soft-closing seats are a new alternative to classic toilet seats. Their modern design allows them to close slowly, while their controlled manner of closing does not require you to assist them. It also shuts automatically, allowing it to come down at a pace that does not make much noise.

Quick Release Toilet Seat

The hinge on a regular toilet seat makes it challenging to clean in some areas. As a result, some areas build up with hairs, grime, and dirt over time. Fortunately, the invention of a quick-release toilet seat means you can keep your entire toilet clean. The hinge mechanism of these toilets allows you to remove the seat entirely, making it easier to wash the areas it covers on the toilet itself.

Urea

It is a plastic moulded under high pressure and offers durability and rigidity with scratch and chemical resistance. It is also antimicrobial and anti-bacterial.

Vitreous-China Material

It is a compound of glass and silica-based materials applied as a coat on porcelain products such as WC pans, urinals, baths and basins to protect them from scratches and stains as an anti-vandal measure.

I bought this item about four months ago and still in the box. When the installer tried to install the toilet, they couldn't because he needed access to the wall. When I contacted QS to exchange the item, customer services told me they could not help me because the item was purchased nearly 30 days ago. They have a different policy of 15 days return, so I had to buy another one because it was more than 15 days. This one is still sitting in my shed in the original box.

I was looking to purchase the RAK Tonique fully back-to-wall close-coupled toilet and wondered if 1. the actual toilet seat covers right to the edge of the pan, or is it only the lid that fully covers the seating area? 2. Does this toilet have a wide-fitting flush valve?

The wrap-over seat fits the edge of the pan. The cistern is fitted with a standard-size syphon valve; I wouldn’t say it is wide.

Can you please tell me where I can view the instructions on how to adjust the flush quantities so I can get the maximum of 3 and 6 litres? I, unfortunately, miss placed the leaflet that gave this information.

The cistern fittings are pre-set at 3 and 6 litres when fitted at the manufacturer's production unit, so there is no need to change after being fitted.

I am looking at the RAK Tonique fully BTW closed coupled WC with a soft close toilet seat. How far does the unit's base extend from the wall, i.e. the distance between the rear of the toilet unit at floor level and the front of the unit at floor level?
