Stainless Steel Material

With / Without Overflow

An overflow is a small hole or opening at the upper part of a sink, basin, bidet or tub that drains away water upon reaching its level so that no water is spilt. When a basin or bath does not come with this design feature, it is called “without overflow” and will need a compatible drain.

I was told to expect the goods to arrive on Tuesday , they had to be sign for and if there was nobody to accept them I was going to be charged extra for second delivery. That was email sent the week before on Wed/Thu. Tried to rearrange delivery to different address. Had no reply and the goods arrived on Monday. Luckily, I was home. Also, it will be good to mention on the website that as long as the plumbing kit, people need to buy a special type of brackets to attach the sink to the top. The sink looks of a good quality, have not installed it yet to say for sure.

The sink looks lovely and was the cheapest I found it. I was initially sent the wrong one, which had to be collected, returned to the warehouse before the right one was sent out. The process took about 3 weeks and customer service weren't exactly apologetic. Lucky I bought it 2 months before the new kitchen was going in, otherwise I would've been very nervous.

Sink looks very smart in our modern, new kitchen and has been admired by others. Still looks good as new and is easy to keep clean as there are no crevices or contours that trap dirt. One downside is the small Franke cover over the sink overflow; this keeps falling off and is not easy to refit. The sink would have been perfect albeit for this.

Found QS to be very efficient and was able to deliver on a specific day I would be at home. The product (sink) came in bigger box so was very well protected against damage and was in perfect condition on inspection. Also QS offered the best price I could find for what I wanted. A pleasing experience.

The Franke Maris Slim Top MRX 251 has welded bowls that denote a better quality sink than one pressed. The frame is 1.2mm thick and the bowl 0.8mm thick.
