I was very pleased to finally find a towel rail that was 500mm. They all seem to be 600mm. The price was less than other sites. Delivery was very efficient and now it is fitted, it looks good. Just what I wanted.

Is it possible to shorten the croydex double towel rail by taking rails out of the end brackets and cutting? I realise you might not recommend doing that but is it at least possible?

We have just talked to our design team who have advised me that it is possible to shorten the towel rail.

Could you please tell me how this towel rail fixes to the wall, as I recently bought a similar product, which continuously falls, is only being held by two tiny screws screwed into the bracket back? It does not hold.
