Very specific in its purpose the Vero Handrinse Basin from Duravit is meant for cleansing hands and is designed to fit into small areas with its minimal composition. Although it comes with an overflow to hasten the draining process, this ceramic ware is not supplied with a tap-hole that can be separately ordered. This ceramic-ware is finished in white colour. It carries a 5-year manufacturers warranty.

An overflow is a small hole or opening at the upper part of a sink, basin, bidet or tub that drains away water upon reaching its level so that no water is spilt. When a basin or bath does not come with this design feature, it is called “without overflow” and will need a compatible drain.

Great quality, well designed for its purpose, stylish in a no-nonsense chunky way and the price is ok for what it is. The basin is very small and compact - perfect for small washrooms. The extra flat space to the side of the basin is useful for holding a soap dish or toothbrush glass, etc. Not all handrinse basins have an overflow. This one does have one which is great as it means you can fit it with a pop-up waste (therefore can be used as a shaving basin if desired) and you don't need to worry about floods if someone leaves the tap running with the trap closed! I can recommend this product highly.
