What dimension is the "900" referring to in the 1700mm x 900mm shower enclosure description? As I understand all height dimensions are 1950mm, the panel is 1700mm wide, and the door is 300mm wide also. Also, would the 1700x900mm enclosure be suitable for a 1700 x 900mm shower tray?

This is a walk-in enclosure. so, therefore, there is no door. There will be two panels of glass one of which will be 900mm which will be fixed to the wall and the other a 300mm piece of glass that hinges of the other. It is called 1700 because this is the size tray that should be used for this walk-in enclosure. If you require an enclosure with a door the only enclosure we offer that is 1700mm in length would have to be a Sliding door.

We are looking to specify the design view walk-in shower screens to shower rooms with 1200 and 1500mm long shower trays. What length should the fixed and hinged panels be?

There are no particular restrictions for the door opening, as this is to your discretion. But usually, 500mm is a good standard door entry width.
